The California Interscholastic Federation Southern Section released its girls’ flag football all-CIF honors, and seven players across three Foothill League teams from the Santa Clarita Valley earned honors across multiple divisions.
The West Ranch Wildcats and Castaic Coyotes finished as finalists in the Division 4 and Division 5 playoffs, and each team earned three selections.
As for Hart, the Hawks’ lone all-CIF selection was Jessica Gutierrez, who earned this season’s Foothill League Player of the Year honors.
The following players were recognized in their respective divisions:
Division 4:
- Jessica Gutierrez, senior, Hart (WR).
- Savannah Patton, senior, West Ranch (WR/LB/K).
- Leila Barton, junior, West Ranch (R/WR).
- Sophia Forbes, senior, West Ranch (WR/DB).
Division 5:
- Pyper Ormes, junior, Castaic (WR/DB).
- Larkin “LuLu” Smith, junior, Castaic (QB).
- Charlotte Wheeler, freshman, Castaic (WR/S).
