A woman crashed into a wall near Golf Course Drive and Tournament Road in Valencia Saturday afternoon but was uninjured, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The woman said she hit the wall, a retention wall attached to a residence, after she mistook her brake for her gas pedal, said Sgt. Anthony Levin. Levin described the woman as elderly but did not give an exact age.
The initial call to the Santa Clarita Valley station went out at 2:24 p.m. and deputies arrived on scene at 2:46 p.m., Levin said. He added that one deputy said the car appeared totaled.
There were no medical transports associated with the call.
