A 42-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of poisoning but was cited and released, according to an official with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
The incident was reported around 5 p.m. Tuesday when the suspect entered a home on the 28800 block of Cedar Ridge Court, according to Shirley Miller, spokeswoman with the station.
Miller added that she did not know if the suspect lived at the house, but he did refuse to come out when deputies got to the scene.
The incident is still under investigation, Miller said.
