The Foothill League has released its all-league selections for the 2025-26 season and Golden Valley junior Donovan Webb has topped the list and is this year’s player of the year after leading the Grizzlies to their first outright league championship in 17 years.
Player of the Year: Donovan Webb, junior, Golden Valley.
Webb, who’s only a junior, has earned this year’s Player of the Year award after leading Golden Valley to a Foothill League title with a 10-2 record.
In the playoffs, Webb averaged 14.6 points per game. And in the first-round playoff matchup against Oak Hills, Webb recorded a 20-point performance and led the Grizzlies in scoring in the win.
On defense, Webb was also a defensive anchor for the Grizzlies. In Golden Valley’s second round matchup against Los Altos, he recorded four steals in the win.
Webb will be one of six players from this year’s roster to return to Golden Valley next season.
