The Missing Persons Unit of the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help to locate a man reported missing.
“Detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department are asking for the public’s help locating at-risk missing person Lamonte Alan Oliney,” according to the Nixle alert sent by the LASD on Wednesday. “He is a 57-years-old male Black, was last seen on March 3, 2026, at 6 p.m., on the 24000 block of Lyons Avenue, in the city of Newhall.”
Oliney is described as 6 feet, 2 inches tall; 165 pounds; with brown hair, brown eyes and a full beard.
“He was last seen wearing a blue hooded jacket and blue sweatpants,” according to the LASD Nixle alert. “His family is concerned for his well-being.”
