The Special Olympics Southern California Region 2 – Santa Clarita Valley hosted a “Tip-a-Cop” event with Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies at Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar in Valencia on Tuesday evening.

The organization raised $3,536 and will go directly back to the Special Olympics SCV chapter, said Tami Cobb, manager of development with the Special Olympics SoCal.
