Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies responded to the 17800 block of Chelsea Way in Canyon Country around 2 p.m. on Monday after receiving calls regarding a possible burglary/assault with a deadly weapon, according to an official with the station.
The victim, a man, reported that about four to five individuals came to his apartment and demanded entry, according to a written statement from Shirley Miller, spokeswoman with the station.
One of the suspects, a man, allegedly brandished a firearm and pointed it at the victim. The suspects then left and fled the scene in a vehicle, the emailed statement said.
The suspects are still outstanding and investigation ongoing as of the publication of this story, Miller’s statement said.
