Officials with the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner have identified the man who was killed in a hit-and-run on Magic Mountain Parkway and Tourney Road on Friday evening.
Dion Mumphery, 39, a transient, has been identified as the man who was killed in the hit-and-run collision.
First responders were dispatched to the intersection of Magic Mountain Parkway and Tourney Road at 8:22 p.m. to reports of a vehicle versus pedestrian collision, Shirley Miller, a spokeswoman with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station, said on Saturday during a follow-up report.
SCV Sheriff’s Station officials are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information to contact Detective Cramer at 661-260-4000, ext. 5678, for possible leads into the investigation.
