The California Interscholastic Federation Southern Section has released its all-CIF honors across for the boys’ basketball 2025-26 season and Golden Valley’s Donovan Webb and Canyon’s Isaac Yuhico were the lone Santa Clarita Valley players honored.
In the Division 3 category, Webb earned his first all-CIF selection after leading Golden Valley to the program’s first postseason appearance since 2022.
In the playoffs, the Grizzlies secured two playoff wins with Webb averaging 14.6 points per game. In the first-round playoff matchup against Oak Hills, Webb recorded a 20-point performance and led the Grizzlies in scoring to advance to the second round.
During the 2025-26 regular season, Webb led the Grizzlies to the team’s first outright Foothill League championship in 17 years and earned the Foothill League MVP.
Canyon’s senior guard, Yuhico, earned his second all-CIF selection and cracked the list after ending the year with the Cowboys as semifinalists in the Division 7 Southern Section playoffs.
With this year’s honor, Yuhico became the second-ever player in Canyon boys’ basketball history to earn multiple all-CIF selections.
After the end of the Southern Section playoffs, Yuhico and the Cowboys made a run in the Division 5 state playoffs and recorded two playoff wins. In the second round of the SoCal regional playoffs, Yuhico tallied a 41-point performance and led his team to the regional semifinals, where the Cowboys fell in an overtime loss to Sylmar.
