Sheriff’s deputies were investigating a report of an assault with a deadly weapon involving a handgun Tuesday morning near Via Princessa, according to an official with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
The suspect was described as a white man who is believed to be in his 40s and fled the scene after the incident at approximately 9 a.m. There were no reports of injuries.
The man was driving a red two-door Toyota Camry Solara and was the sole occupant in the vehicle, according to radio dispatch traffic.
He has black hair and black eyes, per radio dispatch traffic.
There were no injuries reported and the man was gone when deputies arrived on the scene, according to SCV Sheriff’s Station Sgt. R. Arambulo, who declined to give his first name.
