The Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce’s Oak Tree Golf Classic, now in its 42nd year, is scheduled to take place Monday, September 28, at the Valencia Country Club.
“For more than four decades, the Oak Tree Golf Classic has brought together Santa Clarita Valley business leaders, community partners and golfers for one of the chamber’s most anticipated days of the year,” said a news release from the chamber. “The tournament combines a great day of golf with valuable opportunities to build relationships, entertain clients, connect with fellow business leaders and enjoy some friendly competition.”
“The Oak Tree Golf Classic has always been about bringing people together,” Di Thompson, chair of the SCV Chamber board, said in the release. “Some of the best business relationships are built outside the conference room, and this tournament gives companies the opportunity to spend meaningful time with clients, colleagues and fellow business leaders while enjoying a great day on the course. Participants can look forward to professionally hand-rolled cigars, bloody Mary and mimosas, on-course contests, 19th hole and reception, raffle prizes and plenty of opportunities to connect throughout the day, the release said. In addition, there will be a chance to win a trip to Pebble Beach by outdriving a pro on the course.
