California Highway Patrol Newhall-area officers helped a man in a wheelchair on the northbound State Route 14 north of Sand Canyon Road after his car ran of gas and he was waiting on the right shoulder on Tuesday evening, according to an official with the CHP.
The man had run out of gas, causing him to stop on the right shoulder, and officers were able to locate him while they waited for his son to bring gas, according to Officer Carlos Burgos-Lopez, spokesman for the CHP Newhall-area Office.
There were no injuries, he added.
