Two men were arrested on suspicion of robbery after they were caught stealing liquor and assaulted an Albertsons employee on the 27600 block of Bouquet Canyon Road in Saugus on Sunday morning, according to an official with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
The two men fled the scene before deputies arrived but were found after deputies located the vehicle at the Albertsons in Valencia, according to Sgt. Jonathan Elizarraraz with the station.
Deputies detained one suspect, but the other fled, leading to a containment being set up, Elizarraraz said.
The other suspect was located within the containment in the wash area near Albertsons, he added.
