Local resident and retired Air Force Lt. Col. veteran Dan Petkunas is scheduled to host a “Trademarks of Success: Lessons to Stay on Course” event for the community at 8 p.m. on Sept. 29 at Hart Park’s Hart Hall.
The event is to teach teenagers and adults some principles to “stay on course” and attendees will also get the opportunity to hear some stories about Petkunas’ time serving in the Air Force.
“I do presentations about combat flying that I did a long time ago in Vietnam in 1972. And with all my flying adventures, I connect these to what I call trademarks of success. Like grit, resilience, integrity, responsibility, challenge, attributes like that. And I present these to, well, I’ve done it all over the country,” Petkunas said.
The event is free and everyone is welcome to come, he added.
