The Santa Clarita Artists Association is presenting “Sticks & Stones,” a new art exhibition celebrating the beauty, texture, color and inspiration found in the natural world.
The exhibition opens Friday at the SCAA Gallery in Old Town Newhall, with a free opening reception on Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m.
“Sticks & Stones” invites visitors to experience nature through the eyes of local artists, exploring the organic forms, landscapes, textures and unexpected beauty found in the world around us. The exhibition showcases the creativity and diverse perspectives of artists inspired by nature and its endless possibilities, said a news release from the SCAA.
The opening reception on Saturday evening will include a live painting demonstration by artist Noah Wohlenberg. Judy Baerg will host an interactive necklace-making station, inviting attendees to create their own nature-inspired piece. And, Isabella Bazler returns to the gallery to perform live music.

Gallery hours during this exhibit are 5-8 p.m. Fridays, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays.
