Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies are on the lookout for a transient after the man started to take off his clothes off at the Canyon Theatre Guild on Thursday afternoon, then fled.
The man walked into the Canyon Theatre Guild to ask for some snacks, when a worker said they do not sell snacks, according to a deputy on the scene who wished to not be identified.
The deputy said the man asked if he could use the restroom and the worker said yes.
After he came back from the restroom, the man began taking his clothes off, but was not pants-less, according to the deputy. The worker asked him to leave, and he ran out of the building.
According to radio dispatch traffic, it was initially believed that the man revealed himself to children and an adult, but the deputy said it was later confirmed that no children were involved in the incident.
Sgt. Anthony Levin, spokesman with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station, said the man ran toward Sixth Street.
The deputy said the theater worker was the one who made the call.
