A vehicle versus pedestrian traffic collision on McBean Parkway and Tournament Road resulted in one person being transported to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital on Thursday morning, according to officials with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The call went out at 7:29 a.m., with firefighters arriving six minutes later, according to Pauline McGee, spokeswoman for the Fire Department.
The patient was transported at 7:41 a.m., McGee said.
The call closed at 8:05 a.m., McGee added.
Only a few miles away, a two-vehicle head-on traffic collision occurred near Valencia High School, at Smyth Drive and Dickason Drive at 7:53 a.m., McGee said.
Firefighters arrived on the scene at 8:03 a.m., she said.
There were no transports, she added.
