A 35-year-old Palmdale man was arrested on suspicion of identity theft and violating parole after Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies enforced a traffic stop on his vehicle on Sand Canyon Road and Soledad Canyon Road on Friday, according to an official with the station.
Deputies enforced the traffic stop at 1:45 a.m. and since the man was on active parole, he was open to deputies searching the vehicle, according to Shirley Miller, spokeswoman for the station.
During their investigation, deputies found a bag with more than 10 victims’ credit cards, Miller said.
She added that he was arrested on suspicion of violating parole and identity theft.
