Local author Jerry Danielsen welcomed readers and community members to his book signing at the Valencia Library on Saturday, celebrating his book “Dying to Live: Choosing Love and Adventure in the Face of Terminal Illness.”
The book explores the journey of Danielsen and his late wife following her terminal cancer diagnosis. Members of the community engaged in a conversation before Danielsen signed copies.
Danielsen is a longtime local resident of the Santa Clarita Valley and is a composer, record producer, and recording engineer.
The event was hosted by the Friends of Santa Clarita Public Library, according to the organization’s president Tyger White. They provided refreshments, recruited volunteers, arranged for the moderator, and handled publicity as part of their ongoing efforts to support literacy, local authors, and public libraries.
