Wine Under the Roof, the signature rooftop dining and wine-tasting experience, returns to the Santa Clarita Valley Senior Center at Bella Vida on Thursday, Nov. 5, raising funds to benefit the students of the William S. Hart Union High School District.
Presented by WiSH, the Hart District Education Foundation, the event contributes directly to funding programs and resources not fully funded by tax dollars. WiSH supports the over 20,000 students in the Hart district in grades 7-12.
WiSH funds STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) with an emphasis on student wellness, including literacy, special education and more, said a news release from the foundation.
“Although many aren’t aware, 34% of our students are socioeconomically disadvantaged, and we have seven Title I schools,” the release said. “Our great schools also maintain our home values — supporting both is in our community’s best interest.”
This year’s event will begin with a happy hour and feature a multi-course seated dinner, with each course curated by a different chef and paired with wines. The evening also features live entertainment and silent and live auctions.
Early bird ticket pricing ends Thursday: two for $225 and tables of eight for $875. After Thursday, individual tickets will be $125 and tables, $1,000. Ticket sales and more information are available at wisheducationfoundation.org.
