The Santa Clarita Runners Club’s 42nd Annual Fourth of July Independence Day Classic will once again precede the Fourth of July Parade. This year’s event will feature three activities for participants of all ages and abilities, including a Kid K, a 5K run, and a 1 Mile Masters Walk. The 5K and Masters Walk will begin at Newhall Park and follow the Fourth of July parade route, offering participants a unique opportunity to be part of the city’s holiday celebration. The Kid K will take place along Dalbey Drive, giving young runners the thrill of crossing the same official finish line as the 5K participants.
