Acorn Amphitheater Grand Reopening & Movie Night

The Placerita Canyon Nature Center is scheduled to host a grand reopening of the newly reconstructed Acorn Amphitheater with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony and a free family movie night. Community members are invited to bring their picnic essentials – flashlights, chairs, blankets, pillows and favorite foods – to enjoy a relaxing evening under the stars. The festivities will kick off at 6 p.m. with a family picnic, followed by live entertainment at 7 p.m. After the performances, guests can settle in for a free outdoor screening of “The Call of the Wild” (PG), starring Harrison Ford. Attendees will also have the chance to win free giveaways. Alcohol and glass containers are not permitted at this event.
