“Bonhoeffer: Cell 92”

The multimedia solo performance “Bonhoeffer: Cell 92” is coming to Santa Clarita. This is a hybrid performance (cinema and live theater) on the life of Dietrich Bonhoeffer. It highlights his role in the opposition movement against Hitler, dramatizing the complicated choices one must make when one’s moral convictions are tested by a strong drive to act against violent oppression. The piece, based on letters, eyewitness accounts, and biographies, consists of a large cast of characters who only appear on film and one live actor, Justin Poole, who appears on stage and interacts with the filmed characters.
