Magic of the Lights Gala: 5:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21 

The Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley is bringing back its Festival of Trees and celebrating 23 years of holiday magic and community giving. Guests will view elaborately decorated full-sized trees and tabletop trees, wreaths and gingerbread houses that are all crafted by local volunteers, artists and businesses. Attendees will have the opportunity to take items by bidding through silent and live auctions. Senior Day is open to visitors of all ages, but seniors in particular may enjoy viewing the decorations in a less crowded, more relaxed atmosphere. Admission to Senior Day and the weekend Community Days is $5 for seniors, children and military; $10 for adults. The community days will feature crafts and local performing arts groups, and Santa Claus is scheduled to make a special appearance on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Guests can kick off the Festival on Friday evening with an elegant gala celebration and the chance to bid on the most spectacular trees.
