County Parks Celebrate Black History Month

Noon-2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, Val Verde Park, 30300 W. Arlington Drive, Val Verde 

The Los Angeles County Parks and Recreation Department is celebrating Black History Month through Feb. 28 with free programs and events at 59 parks throughout Los Angeles County, including several in the Santa Clarita Valley. Events will feature interactive workshops, live performances, art activities, storytelling, and community engagement opportunities designed for participants of all ages. All events are free and open to the public.
