Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital’s Heart Health Fair

February is American Heart Month, and Henry Mayo will be offering the Santa Clarita Valley a Heart Health Fair in partnership with the City of Santa Clarita. Heart disease is the leading cause of death for men and women in the United States. Every year, one in four deaths is caused by heart disease. The good news is that heart disease can often be prevented when people make healthy choices and manage their health conditions. Henry Mayo’s events are designed to help people make healthier choices. Community members can get free screenings for blood pressure, cholesterol/glucose and stroke. There will also be resources and information on diabetes management and an “Ask a Pharmacist” session.
