Heroes of Color: ‘Pitchfest’

Heroes of Color, a creative enrichment program focused on empowering young artists through business and storytelling, is launching the Santa Clarita Creative Workforce Incubator in close partnership with College of the Canyons. The curriculum culminates in a public PitchFest, where students present their work for feedback and potential freelance opportunities — including projects connected to city initiatives. A panel of three judges, including Councilman Bill Miranda and local patrons of the arts, will award cash prizes to the top three candidates.
