The nonprofit Friends of the Condors’ guest speaker, Dr. Myra Finkelstein, is an adjunct professor in the Microbiology and Environmental Toxicology Department at the University of California Santa Cruz. She will present her lecture, “Why are California condors still dying from lead (it’s complicated): A summary of what we know about condor lead poisoning risk post-Assembly Bill 711.” Free event.
