The nonprofit Mission Opera presents the political thriller “Tosca,” set in Rome during the year 1800 in June. The play takes place over less than 24 hours and centers around three characters – Rome’s diva Floria Tosca, her love interest Mario Cavaradossi (a painter and republican) and corrupted Chief of Police Baron Scarpia.
