Salsa Dance Fundraiser 

To The Pointe Dance Studio, 23120 Lyons Ave. Newhall 

This salsa dance fundraiser, hosted by LA Dance Connection and Cristina Hernandez, benefits Casa Hogar Benito Juarez A.C., a children’s home founded in 1974 by a quadriplegic man from Texas. The home cares for kids of all ages, many of whom have special needs. Some are orphaned, some have incarcerated parents and some come from single-parent families. Teens and young adults welcome to participate, no partner or previous salsa experience required. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., class starts at 7 p.m. Cost: $25 at the door.
