“Visiting Artists Program” Workshop

The Santa Clarita Valley Youth Orchestra invites all young musicians to attend the next “Visiting Artists Program” workshop. Bridge to Everywhere, a world-class professional ensemble, is providing the opportunity for students to strengthen their skills of improvisation and learn what it really takes to be a professional musician. Led by Derrick Spiva Jr., Artistic Director, the program will consist of a rehearsal and learning segment, then an open panel discussion and performance. Parents and the public are encouraged to return at 11:30 a.m. to join in the discussion and watch Bridge to Everywhere perform several pieces, along with a combined song with student participants.
