World Cancer Day

The American Cancer Society and the Santa Clarita Valley Relay for Life chapter to recognize World Cancer Day. The purpose of the day is to raise awareness about cancer prevention, detection and treatment. This year’s theme for World Cancer Day’s three-year campaign is #CloseTheCareGap. The campaign focuses on recognizing and understanding the inequities in cancer care around the world.
