Yom Hashoah Remembrance Day

CBS hosts its Yom Hashoah Remembrance Day event, featuring a theatrical play called “Corrie Remembers: The True Story of Corrie Ten Boom.” Corrie Ten Boom was a non-Jewish Dutch woman who, together with her family, saved approximately 800 Jews during the Holocaust by hiding them in their home. Corrie and her family risked their own lives to save others and they were punished for their humanity, as Corrie was sent to Ravensbruck concentration camp. She survived to tell her story. The event is open to the community and is appropriate for adults and children ages 10 and up.
