Santa Clarita Artists Association member, Olga Kaczmar, presents a one-woman show at Canyon Theatre Guild (CTG) throughout January and February.
The display of artwork will include landscapes, florals, people portraits, horses, dogs and cats. “I’m very pleased when my paint comes to life in the eyes of the animal on canvas,” said Kaczmar. The public is invited to view paintings in oil, watercolor, and pastel during the run of CTG’s play, Willy Wonka, from January 28 to February 28.
In her earlier advertising career, Kaczmar created layouts and renderings for patent applications, ads, exhibits and brochures. Her computer-generated famine-genocide posters have been shown in USA, Canada, Ukraine, France, Australia and United Kingdom.
Roald Dahl’s story of the world-famous candy man and his quest to find an heir is performed in the CTG’s production of Willy Wonka. After finding a Golden Ticket, a boy discovers much more than he was expecting at Willy Wonka’s famous chocolate factory. This musical is a magical confectionary factory of fun using favorite songs from the classic movie, along with new ones. The imaginative set, with gadgets and special effects, will enchant all ages.
