Catch sight of the majestic Tall Ships during the not-to-be missed grand arrival in the afternoon on January 24, as crew members may “man the yards” upon arrival, showcasing them standing on the tall masts. A photographer’s delight, the ships depart for Battle and Adventure Sails throughout January 24 through February 14 out of Ventura Harbor. Open to the public from January 25, the Tall Ship Dockside Tours offer a living history experience. Dockside Tours focus on the authentic 18th century sailor’s view of traveling by tall ship, as well as a chance to meet the ship’s crew and learn what it took to adventure to new lands. Dine for breakfast, lunch, or dinner at one of the Ventura Harbor Village’s seaside restaurants overlooking the Tall Ships and the boats. *Note: Only Lady Washington will be available for Dockside Tours, selected dates. The Tall Ship schedule can change due to weather and unforeseen circumstances, and visitors are urged to check VenturaHarborVillage.com prior to arrival. The best viewing locations are at Harbor Cove Beach, Rhumb Line – The Sunset Restaurant, Channel Islands National Park Visitor Center and Ventura Harbor Village. Book your sail excursion today.
