Several large tractors caught fire in the hills above Whites Canyon in Canyon Country late Thursday night.
The fire was reported to the Los Angeles County Fire Department at 10:41 p.m. behind homes at in the 17000 block of West Sierra Highway, according to a spokesperson with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Residents in the area reported hearing large explosions before the fire broke out, according to a reporter on the scene.

Firefighters worked for five hours to extinguish the flames on the tractors and equipment. The fire was reportedly out at 3:44 a.m.
The cause of the fire is unknown. The Sheriff’s Station is now handling the investigation into the incident.
