Daylight Saving Time ends at 2 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 5 bringing earlier sunsets and later sunrises for the rest of the year.

By adjusting clocks back an hour, Sunday’s marathon runners gain extra sleep before trekking the 26 miles and Monday commuters can get to work rested.

While your ladder is out, the American Red Cross also reminds everyone to test and replace smoke alarm batteries.
