Santa Clarita’s fans of the popular show “How to Get Away with Murder” may want to keep a well-trained eye out for familiar sights in upcoming episodes.

On Monday, L.A. Film Locations announced that the popular ABC show starring Viola Davis would film in at a local bank in Santa Clarita in August.

“Bringing a show of this caliber up to the Santa Clarita Valley for an anchor location like this results in a ripple effect that proves beneficial to the entire community,” the release said. “Local streets and smaller venues are filmed, and parking for crew and base camp in the area is always needed for these larger productions — not to mention the economic impact of using local services. If we could not have booked the bank location in Santa Clarita, the bank location and ripple effect would have been moved to a different city entirely. L.A. Film Locations strives to bring and retain all possible filming in Santa Clarita.”

“How to Get away with Murder” follows group of ambitious law students and their brilliant criminal defense professor (Davis) as they become involved in a twisted murder plot that promises to change the course of their lives. The show has garnered two Screen Actors Guild Awards for Davis plus numerous Emmy and Golden Globe nominations.

The sixth and final season of the show is scheduled to premiere Sept. 26 at 10 p.m. on ABC.
