In Los Angeles County, approximately 15,105 ballots remained to be counted countywide after Tuesday’s update. The next update is scheduled Nov. 29. According to the L.A. County Registrar-Recorder’s Office, “The outstanding Vote by Mail ballots left to be processed is pending signature cures from voters whose signature on the Return Envelope was missing or did not match their registration record. These voters have been notified with instructions on how to cure their ballot to be counted. The RR/CC will accept cure notices through December 3, 2022.”

Numbers of ballots remaining in specific local contests are not available at this time. Given the small number of ballots remaining, it is not expected that they will affect the outcomes of most races, if any.
