City of Santa Clarita employees and Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies responded to a downed tree that blocked the southbound lanes of McBean Parkway, after Summerhill Lane, late Wednesday morning. Workers directed traffic, and used chainsaws to ensure that the tree was efficiently removed.
