The L.A. County District Attorney’s Office charged a 26-year-old Canyon Country man with three felony counts in response to a series of brutal domestic violence allegations reported last month.
Skyler Noah Wall, whose occupation is listed as a landscaper, pleaded not guilty Nov. 19 to injuring a partner after two prior convictions, dissuading a witness and false imprisonment, as well as a misdemeanor count of spousal abuse.
Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies arrested Wall on Nov. 17, according to Sheriff’s Department custody records available online.
The victim indicated that, on Oct. 30, she had a verbal argument with the suspect, who allegedly told the victim that she should not be able to refuse his advances if they’re in a dating relationship, according to the detective’s report in sworn court statements.
When the victim argued, the suspect accused the victim of infidelity and then began to rip the victim’s clothes off, according to her statement.
She told detectives she was forced out of the home, and after walking away, she called a friend for help.
The suspect then drove at the victim while she was walking away, according to her statement in the detective’s report, and driving at the victim, threatened her against calling the police.
The victim then alleged that Wall grabbed the victim by her wrist and pulled her into the car against her will.
The victim then told detectives Wall drove her to a secluded location about a quarter-mile from the public road. Wall took the victim’s glasses, forced her out of the car, pushed her to the ground and threw baseball-sized rocks at her, according to a detective’s report.
Wall told the victim he was teaching her a lesson, according to her statement.
The victim said she was able to get away and was picked up by a member of her church.
The victim contacted station officials, who then launched their investigation. A detective indicated to the court in an affidavit that he was able to locate footage of the suspect’s truck near where the alleged assault occurred.
Wall remains in custody at Men’s Central Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail pending a Dec. 3 hearing.
