“Come on down!”

Those are the words Valencia resident Adam Purnell heard when he attended a taping of “The Price is Right.”

Purnell appeared in Tuesday’s episode of the television game show, sporting a shirt that read: “This guy is already taken by a smoking hot Romanian.”

He competed on the game show to win cash and prizes by guessing the price of merchandise. Purnell ended up taking home about $32,000 in prizes.

“The list included a trip to Thailand, a 65-inch Samsung Television and two Vespa 150 Touring Scooters,” he said.

Purnell said he has always been a fan of The Price is Right and enjoyed the pleasant, but long day on set.

“I watch it every morning,” he said. “Being in California for 11 years I just decided to go for it and get tickets and see if I can get on “

He said being on the show was “very lively” experience and that he even had fun standing in line.
