Trinity Classical Academy varsity girls basketball beat Lancaster Baptist, 38-25, at The Master’s University on Thursday evening.

Taylor Oshiro led the Knights with 18 points, five rebounds and four assists.

Hannah Caddow added four points and 10 rebounds. Kathryn Brooks pulled down 10 rebounds.

Trinity plays Santa Clarita Christian on Saturday at The Master’s University at 5:30 p.m.

Varsity boys basketball

Trinity 67, Lancaster Baptist 40

The Knights improved to 6-13 overall and 1-3 in Heritage League play Thursday night at TMU.

Trinity’s Tyler Lee scored 16 points and had nine rebounds.

Trinity will play SCCS on Saturday at TMU at 7 p.m.

Men’s basketball

TMU 89, Westmont 68
Hansel Atencia scored 23 points to lead the Mustangs (15-3 overall, 4-3 in GSAC) to a win over the No. 5-ranked Warriors in Santa Barbara on Thursday night.
In all, four TMU players finished in double figures.

Women’s basketball

Westmont 61, TMU 58

NAIA No. 20 The Master’s University lost to No. 3 Westmont College in Santa Barbara on Thursday night.

Bianca Cubello led the Mustangs (12-6 overall, 2-5 in Golden State Athletic Conference) with 16 points.
