I remain skeptical that a County wide “solution” manned by thousands of bureaucrats will achieve any long term success at anything other than collecting and spending enormous sums with a significant percentage spent on government infrastructure and employee administrative expenses, i.e. salaries, benefits and pensions.

I fully expect the campaign for Proposition H to feature appeals to emotion and consequences, soothing words on “oversight” and demonization of opponents, i.e. “Why do you hate the homeless?”

I do support Santa Clarita based public/private solutions such as Bridge to Home and other local outreach that assists with connection to extant services. It probably makes sense to expand local public/private partnerships to address growing local homelessness and the discrete and disparate drivers of it.

When Los Angeles County will have ”MILLIONS OF $$$$” to assist ”Illegals” from deportation, that tells me they have a LOT of Money that should be used on our Homeless, Veterans & other problems facing our Valley…I will vote ”NO” …. We’re already paying 9% Sales Tax, the highest in the Country… When ”revenues” are low, the State always comes to the ”Home Owner’s” and raise our TAXES…. We’re paying enough taxes… VOTE ”NO” ON MEASURE H…
