Board members, supporters and media were treated to a preview of the wines and food pairings that will be served at the One March Night wine tasting event at Salt Creek Grille on Monday.

The event, planned for March 21 at 6:30 p.m., will benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley.

Matt Nelson, director of administration at the club, said the preview event was to help build excitement and get the word out about the event.

One March Night will feature wines from Tablas Creek, and Jason Haas, one of the winery’s co-owners, is planning to attend. The winery was chosen by the event’s host Carl Kanowsky and his wife Terry.

Salt Creek Grille is hosting the event, and will provide dishes paired to the wines, like salmon tartar with grapefruit and avocado, to pair with white wines, and discs of grilled artisan sausage with smoky blackberry barbecue sauce on a savory waffle to pair with reds.

Tickets are available for $75 in advance, and $90 at the door.
