A traffic collision on Sand Canyon Road and Soledad Canyon Road between two motorcycles caused one bike to catch fire and two people to be transported to the hospital.
“There were two patients transported,” said fire captain Scott Rudiger with the LA County Fire Department.
According to Rudiger, the fire was out in a few minutes and did not spread.
Officials received the call at 4:31 p.m. and blocked a few lanes near the intersection to clear the bikes.
According to an official with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station, both parties involved in the incident were able to stand but details on the injuries were not released.
