The SCV Sheriff’s Narcotics Team conducted a citywide search on Saturday for wanted individuals with felony warrants, according to SCV Sheriff’s Station Public Information Officer, Shirley Miller.

The search resulted in the arrest of Newhall man Jose Corona, 28, on a parole violation warrant. He was transported to the Santa Clarita Sheriff’s station and was being held with no bail as of 10:25 a.m. on Sunday.

“He should be going to court on Tuesday,” said Sgt. Tim Vander Leek with the SCV Sheriff’s Station.

The narcotics team searched for criminals with warrants for crimes such as vandalism, robbery, sex crimes, and assault with a deadly weapon.
