A Canyon Country man was arrested on a suspicion of rape Wednesday.
The suspect, who works as a car washer, was arrested on his 31st birthday, at about 6:20 a.m., by deputies of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
The man now faces a felony charge of rape by force or fear.
He was then taken into custody with bail set at $100,000.
The suspect was scheduled to appear in San Fernando Superior Court Wednesday.
