One person was hurt and rushed to the hospital Wednesday morning after a car traveling on Bouquet Canyon Road went down a 20-foot embankment, flipped and crashed.
The solo vehicle traffic collision happened about 8:05 a.m. Wednesday on Bouquet Canyon Road at Del Sur Road Lateral.
Paramedics with the Los Angeles County Fire Department reported finding an overturned vehicle in a ditch along Bouquet, Fire Department Inspector Gustavo Medina told The Signal Wednesday.
“The solo vehicle was 20 feet down an embankment,” he said. “All the people were out of the vehicle.”
“One patient was transported to a local trauma center,” Medina said, noting the ambulance arrived at the hospital just before 9 a.m.
The crash prompted a large response by emergency response crews including more than half a dozen fire engines from two Fire Department battalions.
Information about the patient’s identity, gender or age was not disclosed.
