Is the City of Santa Clarita in need of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations? The City is gathering feedback and data to discuss the potential future opportunity to bring additional charging stations to the City. Residents are encouraged to share their feedback now through Sunday, Dec. 31 via an online survey available at GreenSantaClarita.com. Those who complete the survey will be entered in a random drawing to win gift cards.
In the past several years, there has been a steady rise in electric vehicle ownership in California, which has been ranked as the nation’s number one electric vehicle market. As a result, electric vehicle chargers are sprouting up throughout the state, now becoming commonplace at airports, businesses and big city parking garages. The City of Santa Clarita is looking at the possibility of bringing charging stations to the City and is now seeking input from residents.
